IAEP National Director Discusses Ongoing Negotiations with Channel 12 News of Santa Barbara
IAEP National Director Matthew Levy recently took part in an interview with Santa Barbara, California’s KCOY Channel 12 News regarding ongoing negotiations between Local 70 and management at AMR of Santa Barbara.
AMR management recently presented negotiators with their last, best and final contract offer, which raised concerns over workplace safety. Levy and the members of the Local 70 Negotiating Committee are concerned that proposed changes to scheduling regulation will mean Local 70 members can be forced to work longer consecutive shifts.
